OPINION: Opponents to ‘lockbox’ amendment miss the point

A constitutional amendment on the Nov. 8 ballot represents more than just protecting dollars for transportation funding. This vote offers citizens an opportunity to not only restore and protect the integrity of taxes, fees and licenses imposed by the state of Illinois, but more importantly undermine the Ponzi game mentality state officials have relied upon to finance government for the past fifteen years.
