Voter support for redistricting, term limits at record high: poll

Illinois voters won’t have a say on term limits or redistricting reform this November, but their support for both ideas is stronger than ever before, according to a new Paul Simon Institute Poll.

More than 80 percent of likely voters said they favor a constitutional amendment limiting the number of terms state lawmakers can serve, compared to just 17 percent who are opposed.
